Teenagers! It’s time to move from the pediatric dentist!

Is your twenty year old still seeing the pediatric dentist?? Did you know your child is considered an “adult” in the dental world when they have gotten all of their permanent teeth in place? Teens can begin to build tartar, get decay and have cosmetic dental issues, just like adults! If your child has all their permanent teeth, it may be time to ask their pediatric dentist if they are ready to visit an adult dentist and a certified dental hygienist.
