"Welcome to my family of patients. You have my assurance that I will always treat your dental needs like I would treat my own family. I look forward to serving the dental needs of you and your family. Thank you for choosing us!
The main reason I chose to practice the art of dentistry is because it gives me an amazing opportunity to change people's lives. A smile is a powerful thing. A healthy, beautiful smile feels good; it conveys your inner youth and happiness. People notice a great smile. I have seen the life changing benefits it has had for many of my patients and I have also felt tremendous improvement in my health and well-being, thanks to dentistry.
For years, I personally suffered from TMJ. It affected my everyday life. I lived with chronic pain, sensitive teeth and teeth that were shifting and crowding. Several dentists had looked at my "tooth issues" but none ever gave me a comprehensive examination concerning the way the head and neck system work together. I was never given a proper diagnosis. I felt like I couldn't be cured and adapted to the issues with ibuprofen and avoidance of certain foods that caused pain. I went to bed if I had a migraine and hoped I wouldn't wake up in the morning with jaw pain.
Through my training, I was fortunate enough to learn more than just "tooth" dentistry. I learned how the muscles, joints and support structure for the teeth in the head and neck all work together in harmony. I found a trained colleague who gave me a comprehensive examination and proper diagnosis. After treatment, I no longer have to worry about migraines, facial pain and sensitive teeth. I feel like my teeth look beautiful and I know they are comfortable. This has changed my life. Being free of pain makes me a more energetic professional, a more patient mother, and a happier friend and wife. People around me comment on my smile all the time. Because of the comfort and confidence I now experience, I feel like smiling all the time.
I tell this story because I know that getting a healthy smile is
an
enormously powerful, life-changing event. What a wonderful opportunity,
as a dentist, I get to meet incredible people, develop lifetime
relationships and through the power of a healthy smile, change lives
daily."
