Every patient will receive an oral cancer screening at every visit. Dr. Fisher knows the importance of catching oral cancer early. This exam may consist of a visual exam of the interior of your mouth and supporting tissues. Dr. Fisher will exam the sides of your tongue, a common area for oral cancer. She may also check the nodes in your head and neck. Please let Dr. Fisher know if you smoke or use tobacco products as these may increase your risk for oral cancer. You should always feel comfortable asking Dr. Fisher about any changes that you have noticed in your mouth.
